New hobbies

Life is all so cosy at the minute, that seems a strange thing to say when we are in the middle of house hunting and going to our lives turned upside down by the arrival of our first child. I think that both Michelle and myself are just kinda content and perhaps are just a little bit smug married. I hope not but recently both of us have started new hobbies, well not so much new but hobbies we have not done in a while. Michelle has started knitting and joined a pub knitting circle, and I have started modeling. Not on a catwalk just making airfix kits. I’ve just finished an Italian bomber used by Franco in the Spanish civil war, a subject I’ve been reading about recently. I’ll maybe take a few pictures of it and post them here, or write a few modeling pages. It was kinda of cool to get back into it, although I’ve got very critical of the kits, they always seemed perfect when I was kid. Let’s hope I don’t turn into a rivet counter

Everything old is new again

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:46 am

Things have been changing so quickly lately, I’ve not had a chance to write about it. Mostly every facet of my life is changing but I’m just same. The result of the last few months of flux is that

  • I’ve changed jobs back to exterity
  • Michelle is over halfway through her pregancy and full of life
  • We’re in the process of buying a house and moving out of the city

When all is said and done I’m much happier and centred now that our plans are coming together, and although I’m not going into just now thanks to all our friends and family for their love and support recently.
